Tallgrass vs Pokellector
Both help you track which Pokémon cards you have. Pokellector is a long-running set checklist with phone apps and Japanese sets. Tallgrass is a web app that checklists every English printing and puts a market price, its source and its date on each one, so your collection has a value you can follow.

Pick Tallgrass if…, pick Pokellector if…
Pick Tallgrass if
- You collect English cards and want to know what your collection is worth, card by card and in total.
- You chase master sets and need every reverse holo and Poké Ball pattern as its own line.
- You buy graded cards or sealed product and want those priced next to your raw cards.
- You'd rather use it in a browser on any device than install an app.
Pick Pokellector if
- You collect Japanese sets.
- You want a plain have / need checklist and don't care much about prices.
- You want a native phone app.
Bringing your collection over
Tallgrass imports any spreadsheet that has a set column (name or code) and a card number column; condition, grade, quantity and price paid are optional columns. You see every row and what it matched before anything is added. Collectr's CSV export is read as is.
Tallgrass vs Pokellector, answered
- Can I import my Pokellector collection into Tallgrass?
- There is no one-click Pokellector import. If you can get your list into a spreadsheet with a set and a card number column, Tallgrass imports it and shows you every match first. CSV import is free on the Trainer plan.
- Does Tallgrass have Japanese cards?
- No. Tallgrass covers English Pokémon cards and sealed products, every set since 1999. If Japanese sets are a big part of your collection, Pokellector covers them.
- Is there a Tallgrass app?
- Tallgrass is a web app. Open it in your phone's browser and add it to your home screen; there's nothing to download from an app store.
