Trademarks and copyright
Pokémon, the Pokémon Trading Card Game, and all related character names, logos, card names, card text, symbols and card artwork are trademarks and copyrighted works of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc. and The Pokémon Company. English cards released from 1999 to 2003 were published by Wizards of the Coast. TCGplayer and eBay are trademarks of their respective owners.
Tallgrass is an independent, fan-made tool. It is not produced, endorsed, supported or sponsored by, or affiliated with, any of these companies. We claim no ownership of their material: names and marks are used only to identify the cards they refer to, and card images are shown for identification and reference so collectors can recognize and catalog their cards.
The Tallgrass name and logo, the design of the site, its code and original text are © JOCO INC. Data credits and open licences are listed on the Legal & credits page.
Asking us to remove material (notice and takedown)
If you own rights in material shown on Tallgrass — or are authorized to act for the owner — and believe it is used improperly, send us a notice. To help us act quickly, please include:
- a description of the work or trademark concerned and of the rights you hold;
- the exact URL(s) of the page(s) or image(s) on Tallgrass;
- your name, organization (if any), postal address, email address and, optionally, a phone number;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf;
- your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough).
How to send it: use the Contact page and choose “Takedown / rights request”, or email red@tallgrass.io.
What we do: we acknowledge your notice, review it, and — if it is complete and appears valid — remove or disable access to the material promptly, aiming for no more than 5 business days. If the material is content posted by a user (for example a binder name or description), we will inform that user and forward the essential parts of your notice. We may ask you for more information if the notice is incomplete.
Counter-notice
If content you posted was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that you have the right to use it, you can send us a counter-notice through the same channels. Include the removed content and its former location, why you believe the removal was wrong, your contact details, a statement that the information is accurate, and your signature. We will share it with the person who sent the original notice and may restore the content if they don’t pursue the matter within a reasonable time, unless the law requires otherwise.
Repeat infringers
When user content is available, we will, in appropriate circumstances, suspend or close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
About the legal framework
Canada’s Copyright Act provides a “notice and notice” regime for intermediaries, which only requires forwarding notices to users. We go further and voluntarily apply the notice-and-takedown process described above.
Rights holders in the United States may send notices in the format of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to the same channel; we will handle them as described above.
Please note that knowingly sending a false or misleading notice or counter-notice may have legal consequences.
Reporting other problems
To report illegal or abusive content, an error in card data, or a bug, use the Contact page. Questions about personal information are covered in our Privacy Policy.
